What’s the difference between copy and content?
A great copywriter sells your brand to your audience. It’s the art of persuasion. It’s the short, snappy words that draw in your audience and connect with them. Think adverts, landing pages and slogans.
A great content writer educates and entertains your audience. It’s the art of information giving. Think articles, blogs, newsletters, websites, media releases and reports.
I do both.
But that’s really splitting hairs. It doesn’t matter what it’s called. It’s all about great writing with a business objective.

- The tone of voice – “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it”
- Your USPs
- The ‘Call to Action’ (what do you want the audience to do)
- Key words for SEO (if applicable)
- The information available to me or the need for further research
- Timelines and budget
