Content and copywriting

I write great copy and content for my clients, whatever their needs, on time and within their budget. I work closely with my clients to gain a strong understanding of their business objectives and strategy and create copy and content that delivers results.

What’s the difference between copy and content?

A great copywriter sells your brand to your audience. It’s the art of persuasion. It’s the short, snappy words that draw in your audience and connect with them. Think adverts, landing pages and slogans.

A great content writer educates and entertains your audience. It’s the art of information giving. Think articles, blogs, newsletters, websites, media releases and reports.

I do both.

But that’s really splitting hairs. It doesn’t matter what it’s called. It’s all about great writing with a business objective.

How do I work?

Drop me an email with an outline of what you need. I will get back to you promptly so we can arrange a call to chat through the details and you can check that you like me and that we are a good fit (it’s important to like the people you work with!).

To get started, we’ll need to discuss

  • What format you need (web copy, feature, case study etc..)
  • The audience
  • Your objectives
  • The tone of voice – “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it”
  • Your USPs
  • The ‘Call to Action’ (what do you want the audience to do)
  • Key words for SEO (if applicable)
  • The information available to me or the need for further research
  • Timelines and budget

Don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers, or need some help developing them, I have lots of experience in marketing and comms strategy and we can work together on them.

Once I have the full brief, I can quote you for the project.

I look forward to speaking to you soon.
